If you agree you might find our Summer of Hwy 29 Road Trip campaign fun. Growing up in Georgia before the interstates were king, US HWY 29 was a vibrant path leading from West Point Georgia on the Alabama line through Atlanta and Athens ending with a splash in Hartwell Georgia.
Along the way it carries a lot of names - most familer may be Roosevelt Highway, Atlanta Highway, and Lawrenceville Highway. But it also includes Atlanta's Ponce de Leon and Decatur's Scott Boulevard.
We are meeting with mayors, business owners, boat captains, bbq pit masters, brewmasters, and other movers and shakers along the way.
